I won't be home to receive my order. Can you leave it at the front door and is it safe to eat?

Yes, we can leave your delivery unattended if you select that delivery preference and long as it is safe to leave unattended (be sure to provide delivery instructions). In your delivery address settings which you can access from your Account page, you can select "leave unattended" so it's outlined in the beet red color - by not selecting this, that means that the driver will hand off the delivery to you, and will fail the delivery if you're not home to accept the order. You can also select "don't ring doorbell" if you do not want to be interrupted or are up that early, for example. In your settings you can also opt in or out of receiving text message alerts about your deliveries.

Regarding meal safety, the meals can be left in their insulated bags for several hours, though this can vary depending on local delivery temperature and weather conditions. We suggest touching the containers to ensure they are still cool to the touch as well. We do strongly suggest bringing your order inside to refrigerate as soon as you are able to.
